Swoosh!! 3 months.
At the blink of an eye, 3 months have passed since I started work with Cargolux Airlines. So far, still ok, pretty stressful lately due to year end. Everyone just forced me to swallow their cargo when there are only 3 flights to Europe per week - bearing in mind, this is B747-800 not A380! I would say 70% of the agents are nice and reasonable people, 20% unreasonable, 10% totally cannot-make-it attitude. Some whom I can engage a little conversation with, some that sounded so gay and still ask me out for coffee, some whom I can totally click with and talk about personal matters. Just bear this in mind, when you are geniunely nice to people, people will in turn do you a favour and be nice to you even during rainy days! For some who still don't, ask them to f*** off. hahha~ oopx!
I was being invited by an agent for lunch on Wednesday and various Airlines (SQ, EK, Air China, CX etc) turn up to support their event. Anyway, I'm really a peanut compared to majority of the big shots, but somehow it marks a start in creating rapport for future client servicing.
Next week plenty of client serving to give away year end gifts. My company is giving away 2 x bottles of red/white wine to agents/clients + plenty of goodies. I beginning to agree with my colleagues - This is a rich airline.
Just to let you have a glance at my work desk:

Calculator - My weapon for flight planning. Without a calculator is as good as doing nothing.
Usually this is how my table will look like a day before flight. Its like going for battle!

Yeah! I stared into this screen for 9 hours and up to 12 hours each day.
The lion was a gift from Rayna last christmas! The side of the LCD panel have more than 10 post-it. Pardon me, but this job really requires me to remember hell loads of information. Asked me if I refer to them, I would say 60% of the time.

This was taken some time back in early November. Specially flown in from Melbourne, Aus. Thanks to Jas for helping us to get it.
Looks nice and tempting - Warning! They are awfully sweat. You can get diabetes by eating 1 each day. I think this box is enough to curb my curiosity for the queue in Raffles City Shopping Centre. Its nice but I wouldn't wanna have it again.
Heard that I will be leaving next June. Still awaiting for more information! Time to bathe now!
P.S. Hopefully this piece of short write-up is enough to feed my readers who's hungry for more blogging.
